Piccini Collezione Oro Chianti Spuperiore is a Chianti which is aimed at more demanding palates.
The Piccini Collezinoe Oro Chianti Superiore has an elegant, layered complex nose with touches of plum, black cherry and spices. Exceptional balance and refinement on the palate as bitter cherry flavours dance with sweet plums, spices and cranberries. A wildly popular style with its fruit-driven density.
Perfect ripeness and protection from oxygen are the main goals for this blend. Sangiovese and Merlot grapes are fermented are fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, during this process the winemakers apply soft extraction techniques to get plenty of flavours and soft tannins out of the skins.
