The grapes from which this wine is made come from a small plot in Malpica (Rioja Alavesa), sheltered by the Sierra de Cantabria mountain range.
Faustino Reserva Icon Edition is a pure, bright and very colorful red wine with a dark cherry color grading to Bordeaux red. Very intense and complex on the nose, warm, sweet and dry, with clearly perceptible notes of very ripe wild berries accompanied by pleasant spicy notes and hints of wood in the background. On the palate it is elegant, tasty and well-structured, with lovable, well-integrated tannins and a balanced mid-palate. Very persistent finish with hints of nuts.
