Tomintoul Tundra Bourbon Cask Scotch Whisky comes form the Cairngorm National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. The high altitude, fresh mountain air and spring water combine to create a sweet and complex Whisky that is truly wild in nature yet gentle in spirit.

The high altitude and freeing conditions in winter mean that the Cairngorms is one of the few places out with the Arctic where areas of tundra exsist. Cold and windy with sub-zero temperatures in the winter lead to a burst of life in the summer, with wild flowers and animals flourishing in this unique landscape.

Tomintoul Tundra Bourbon Cask was born in this challenging environment. It is an elegant, balanced and creamy single malt matured entirely in American oak bourbon barrles.

Nose: Aromas of toasted oak and poached pears with overlying marzipan anf white chocolate

Palate: Nutty and creamy with layers of vanilla and fudge, stone fruits and creme anglais

Finish: Warming and long with hints of orchard fruits and sweet spices lingering on the tongue.
