Jack Daniel's is most likely not only the most famous distillery in the United States of America, rather, the brand is also the epitome of the Tennessee Whiskeys.
Located in Lynchburg, the world-famous distillery belongs the Forman Group and produced more than 90 million liters of Whiskey. The brand Jack Daniel's is the best-selling Bourbon in the United States and is in direct competition with the sought-after Scottish brand of Johnny Walker for the award as the world's most successful manufacturer. The Jack Daniel's distillery is also recognized as the oldest distillery in the USA.
One finds the Jack Daniels No.7 present in almost all bars and in the future almost certainly even Jack Daniel's no. 2 Master Distiller Tennessee Whiskey will be just as popular. The distillery describes it as "Jack Daniels Master Distiller series No. 2".
The limited edition Jack Daniels No. 2 Master Distiller Tennessee Whiskey is a premium Whiskey presented in a typical Bourbon bottle. Reddish golden and amber shimmers provocatively through the bottle glass and prepares for pure tasting pleasure.
In the aroma of the delicious Jack Daniels No. 2 Master Distiller Tennessee Whiskey are some reminders of No. 7, like the smell of oak and sweet vanilla which satisfies the senses and occurs later again in the favorable taste.
Once in the mouth the connoisseur will discover fine nuances of liquorice and sugar syrup, nestled in a warm cloak of slight pepper sharpness and oily oak.
The finish of the classy Jack Daniels No. 2 Master Distiller Tennessee Whiskey is endless and again allows a light sweetness in the foreground. Overall the finish is dry and reminiscent of burnt wood and roasted vanilla beans; pure Campfire flair.
It is interesting to know that the Jack Daniels distillery has been known to make an epic mistake. Master Distiller Jesse Butler Motlow who guided the Jack Daniel's production through the prohibitions years and was also known as Jess, was responsible for the production of the premium Bourbon of 1911-1941. The bottle however had the inscription of the years 1911-1944. Delivery of these bottles with incorrect figures was ceased. So, anyone who can call one of these faulty bottles his own, should hold on to this as a golden treasure!
Since 2008 Jeff Arnett is responsible for the production of Whiskey and in particular the Jack Daniels No. 2 Master Distiller Tennessee Whiskey. The No. 2 is made in honor of Jess Matlow who was the longest serving master distiller. Jack Daniels success can be as a result of using great barrels during maturation as well as dripping the spirit through 10 feet of charcoal. The limited No.2 makes an awesome collector’s item and each bottle is individually numbered.
