The distinctive Pink 47 Gin is produced in an English Distillery in Warrington by the company G & J Greenal. G & J Greenal is the second largest distiller in the UK. The history of the Pink Gin 47 can trace itself back to the year 1761, in which it was hand crafted and sold for the first time. For the current production master distiller Joanne Simcock is responsible for this fabulous creation. Joanne Simcock is the only woman master distiller in the whole of Great Britain. The production of Pink 47 Gin takes place under the highest quality standards. Every single Botanical is checked for its quality and a high-quality traditional pot still plant with a quadruple distillation is used for the distillation process of this award winning Gin. The filtered and purified water used to dilute the spirit to 47% is taken from the River Dee in Mid Wales. 11 different imported Botanicals from around the world are used to create this special Gin: juniper berries from Tuscany, orris root from Italy, angelica root from Germany, cubes pepper from Java, almonds from Spain, zesty orange and lemon peel from Spain, coriander from Morocco, Muscat from West Africa, cassia, nutmeg, and liquorice spice bark out of China.
