Jack Daniels No. 3 Master Distiller Whiskey 1 l

Seven whiskeys that are launched to honour seven leading characters of the Jack Daniel Distillery’s history. This bottle is a collector’s edition and has a limited availability. The fantastic Jack Daniel’s bourbon has the typical dark mahogany hue.

It is a smooth whiskey with a smell of sweet caramel, vanilla and oak. Nuances of spices and smoke can be found as well. The body is voluminous and soft. On the palate the aromas of spicy oak, vanilla as well as caramel and toffee can be detected again. This Jack Daniel’s Master Distillers No 3 holds the perfect balance between soft, sweet and mellow and spicy as well as slightly smoky.

The finish is of medium length and lets the flavours fade out slowly. Overall this bourbon is as soft as it is typical of Jack Daniel’s whiskeys because of the charcoal mellowing. This process extracts the undesired aromas and has therefore a significant impact on the character.

Till this day, seven different Master Distillers have been working at the Jack Daniel Distillery and assisted the company with their skills and knowledge about producing fabulous bourbon. The Jack Daniel’s Master Distillers Series was launched to honour those important characters. This special Tennessee whiskey acknowledges the hard work and is a symbol for the great effort that each of the following men has put into the Jack Daniel’s whiskeys:

The Jack Daniel’s Master Distillers No 3 was dedicated to Lemuel Lee Tolley, who was also called Lem. The packaging is showing his face and the label is citing his motto “Never vary from the recipe. This isn’t whiskey, this is family”. Furthermore, the label is giving some more information about Lem. As each of the Jack Daniel’s Master Distillers Series this is a great gift for whiskey enthusiasts and can grade up the own mini-bar too.
