The young Tanqueray Gin No. Ten first appeared in on the market in 2000 and comes from the house of Tanqueray and is termed as a western style Gin. Tanqueray Gin was initially distilled in 1830 by Charles Tanqueray in  London. When Charles died in 1868, his son Charles Waugh Tanqueray inherited the distillery, which continued to operate until it was severely damaged during World War II. Although it originated in England the Gin is now crafted with the greatest care in Scotland and is the best of British-Indian tradition. The Tanqueray Gin No. Ten is the only Gin in the world distilled using whole fresh citrus  fruit and Botanicals.  In order to guarantee an absolutely pure and high quality product the Tanqueray distillery distills its Tanqueray Gin No. Ten four to five times in small batches compared to it‘s brothers, the Tanqueray London Dry Gin, Tanqueray Rangpur Gin and the Tanqueray Malacca Gin.  Tanqueray Gin of No. Ten has the largest volume of alcohol, which gives it additional wealth.
