The complex Havana Club Cubano is based on fermented molasses. Molasses is a thick, dark and sticky byproduct that is produced during the sugar extraction from sugar cane. The company uses exclusively regional sugar cane which grows on the island itself.

The authentic Havana Club Cubano ritual was first released in 2012 and was originally developed for the Spanish market. Nevertheless it has found its way to other countries, even if only very limited. With the design of the bottle of exquisite Rum, the company has decided for the first time not for a round bottle, but a square bottle that is traditionally decorated with the typical label of the Havana Club trademark.
