The Maker's Mark Distillery Inc. founded by T. William Samuels is responsible for the production of its Kentucky Bourbon, American made and exported from there to the whole world since 1958. During its time the distillery has remained true to the original recipe, so it almost has the exact same taste of Maker’s Mark from over a half-century ago! 

The Maker's Mark Distillery Inc. renounced the use of any new-fangled machines in order to ensure the exclusivity of Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky. This effects the output quantity however ensures the special quality of the spirit. About 20 barrels of Marker’s Mark is produced from 200 bushels of grain, hence the term small-batch Bourbon.

Marker’s Mark is aged for around six years. The barrels are rotated from upper to lower levels of the aging warehouse in order to even out temperature differences during the aging process so that all the spirits have the same quality and taste. 

Marker’s Mark is differentiated from other Bourbon Whiskies by the fact that rye is not used in the mash. Rather red winter wheat, corn and malted barley is used. Marker’s Mark also uses the Scottish spelling of 'Whisky' rather than the US spelling of 'Whiskey'.

Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky is presented in a distinctively square bottle with a dipped red candle wax-coated fastener for a special look. The name of the Bourbon Whisky as well as the design of the label was given by Marjorie Samuels, wife of William Samuels.
