The artisan crafted Kilchoman Machir Bay 2015 was stored in ex-Bourbon and first fill Oloroso sherry casks which brought forth some smoke and of course the sweet facets. 

The beautifully-balanced Kilchoman Machir Bay 2015 is the flagship of the Kilchoman range and is named after the most spectacular beach on Islay. The Kilchoman distillery was built on the Rockside Farm in 2005 on the fertile west coast of Islay and is one of the most recent built distilleries on Islay as well as one of the smallest distilleries on Islay producing about 120000 liters of spirit a year. Kilchoman is the first farm distillery on Islay and prides itself in traditional production, growing up to 100 tons of its own publican barley on the farm and also carrying out floor maltings.
