Hine XO antique Premier Cru Grande, a premium Cognac that has managed to create a harmony between the fruit and spices
Hine XO antique Premier Cru Grande Cognac is the epitome of a premium Cognac and brings a shine to the experts eyes. The addition of "XO" in the title of the Hine XO antique Premier Cru Grande Cognac stands for "extra old" and shows at first glance that the brandy was matured particularly long. This comes with the highest quality, a unique harmony of taste and high standards. Older does not necessarily always mean better, but in this case the aromatic and rich Hine XO antique Premier Cru Grande Cognac is definitely the first prize and justifies its price.
The Hine distillery is currently 250 years old and has acquired a know-how which causes global envy. The distillery is located along the banks of the La Charente River in the heart of the Cognac region Jarnac since 1763. A 16 year old named Thomas Hine left home for France. Thomas married a trader’s daughter at 22 and went on to establish the family run company called Thomas Hine & Company. The company was very successful. Their special flair in the way of the production of exquisite Cognac passed on to the sixth generation in the home of Hine will keep benefiting us hopefully in the future. The complex Hine XO is a blend of 40 Cognacs which are all at least 10 years old. Only grapes from Grande Champagne are used in the production of this timeless classic. The packaging is also quite spectacular. The bottle is adorned by the trademarked logo which is a stag and the bottle shape is inspired by a crystal decanter that a family member received as a wedding gift.
The aroma of the well-rounded Hine antique XO Cognac Premier Cru Grande presents itself with taste contrasts that could not be more different. On the one hand very spicy, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon come to the fore, on the other hand, fruity sweet, with the connotation of floral notes and delicate lavender make its appearance. A silky-soft tone of black pepper resonates which gives a special touch to the Hine XO.
This constellation shows itself in the mouth as a juicy fresh overtone. Desserts such as cake and ice cream, surrounded by a mantle of denier perfume reminds one of creamy honey as well as a certain sweetness of vanilla beans.
As for a true Hine Cognac, the finish of the Hine XO antique Grande Premier Cru is pure elegance, balance and long-lasting taste harmony defined. The Hine XO was awarded a gold medal at the International wine and spirit Competition in 2013.
The copper colored Hine antique XO Cognac Premier Cru Grande should always be enjoyed pure and offers the perfect opportunity for great pleasure.
