Hernö Old Tom Gin has a very soft texture with a slight sweetness. The taste is spicy followed by
juniper, orange, coriander, black pepper, elk grass and vanilla with hints of pine flowers.

Hernö Gin was established in 2011 in Dala, just outside Härnösand, by Jon Hillgren, who is also Master Distiller. Jon developed an interest in gin in 1999 during a trip to London with friends, where they were to work as bartenders. That trip was followed by several visits to different distilleries. Hernö is Sweden's first gin distillery and was the northernmost in the world at the start.
