After a serious fire in 2007, the barrels of Chairman's Reserve The Forgotten Casks Rum were only found again in 2011. The rum thus matured for 5 to 11 years in casks that previously contained whiskeys from Jim Beam, Jack Daniel's and Buffalo Trace.
Color: Mahogany; Very intensive bouquet of raisins surrounded by tobacco, vanilla and oak.
Palate: Balanced taste of sweet fruitiness and fine spices
