Boe Superior Scottish Gin originates from the Scottish village of Doune where in 1658 Franz de la Boe a Dutch professor stumbled across the recipe by experimentation. He was looking for a medicinal diuretic for kidney disease and ended up creating the first Gin. A rare Carterhead Still is used for the vapor –infusion. The essence of the botanicals is blended with the fine grain spirit during vaporization. The flavour of the botanical essential oils enhance the final product.
